When you exchange sovereign (“fiat”) currency for cryptocurrency, your fiat currency will be transferred from our custodian bank, where it is safeguarded in a regulated environment, to the relevant cryptocurrency exchange, where it will not be safeguarded or regulated. If you are exchanging cryptocurrency for fiat currency, the fiat currency will be transferred from the unregulated/unsafeguarded environment to the regulated, safeguarded environment of our custodian bank. If you are exchanging one cryptocurrency for another cryptocurrency, all cryptocurrency will remain in an unregulated and unsafeguarded environment. Likewise, if you transfer cryptocurrency to another Ziglu user, or receive a transfer of cryptocurrency from another Ziglu user, all cryptocurrency will remain in an unregulated and unsafeguarded environment.
Cryptocurrency is extremely volatile. As a result, the value of your investment may be significantly less than the amount of fiat currency you exchange and you could lose all of the value of the fiat currency or other cryptocurrency you exchange if any cryptocurrency you choose loses its value. This could happen over time or immediately and you will have no recourse or protection in the event this is the case. Please only proceed with an exchange for cryptocurrency if you have fully understood and are willing to accept these risks.
